About the Ministry

According to Article 225 of the Federal Constitution of Brazil of 1988:
"Everyone has the right to an ecologically balanced environment, an asset for common use by the people and essential to a healthy quality of life, imposing on the public authorities and the community the duty to defend and preserve it for present and future generations. "

The Ministry of Nature was born in 2021 by civil initiative, with the aim of connecting people, institutions, NGOs and collectives, communicating in an accessible way to the diverse public the importance of nature for health and climate balance.
Health and Reforestation
People and institutions acting locally are driving big changes. Amidst the chaos of accelerated environmental degradation, society is beginning to recognize that committed efforts are already generating significant results. The union strengthens movements, encourages engagement in projects and connects new perspectives.
Preserving nature opens the door to a regenerative future, full of health, opportunities, food security, education and socio-environmental justice. Our mission is to collaboratively build a portal for the dissemination of materials, articles, projects and news that inspire, educate and raise awareness among the various sectors of society. In addition, we seek to connect institutions, activists and communities in real time, forming a powerful support network to boost environmental causes in Brazil and worldwide.
